Martino Caridi was born in Battipaglia in 1986, since he was a child he was keen on drawing, when he was 7 he started making his first paintings with the inks of his father’s typography. After his first experiences with traditional painting, at the age of 14, he got fond of aerography and graphic advertising, realizing more than 100 airbrushed drawings and many Custom paintings. To deepen his knowledge in Arts he attended the Art Institute in Salerno, and after getting his diploma in Advertising Graphics he carried on experimenting new techniques and materials to create his works. Once concluded his studies he took part in many collective and individual art exhibitions. Over the years he collaborated with many art dealers and his works got exhibited in Italian and foreign art galleries. After 10 years working in the artistic field and graphic advertising, he combined these passions and approached the tattoos world. He attended the studio of a tattoo artist and had his first experiences with tattoo machines by tattooing some friends. Eventually he opened his own studio “Caridi Tattoo” with the aim to transfer his art from canvas to skin.
